It is: We seek authentic community as the family of God.
Our text for this is Acts 2:42-47.
If you'd really like to take a deep dive, I would recommend that you read Acts 1 to 6. This is the story of the explosive beginning of the church.
Try reading Acts chapter 2:42 to 47 as if you were there, as if this early church existed at Transformation Church today. You will find in this short passage the most authentic community you have ever heard of.
We are told that the early believers "devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer?" Verses 2:43-47 describe a little window into how each of these four things were done.
At Transformation Church, how would you say we are doing with being like this early church?
